Description
Used in conjunction with a Space Helmet to go outside a pressurized and breathable environment. It features adjustable pressure and air conditioning (temperature) settings, as well as an warning system that will alert the occupant should the atmosphere inside the suit become hazardous. It can also carry a Spacepack for additional storage and jumpjet capabilities.

The EVA Suit is the lighter of the two available suits, the other being the Hardsuit, the latter being much more resistant and better insulated.

Usage
Your suit must be worn with a suitable helmet to function properly. You must insert suitable gas canisters and filters into the suit's slot (see below). These will need to be manually changed on a periodic basis, although the canisters can also be recharged/drained using a fully-supplied Suit Storage rack.

Your suit readouts are normally displayed at the top-right of the screen. Your suit functions can be accessed by pressing the Number 3 key. This will bring up a panel showing the slots and their various settings. These only function when wearing a suitable closed helmet, and are as follows:
*A/C On/Off (i.e. Temperature control on/off)
*Filters On/Off
*Air On/Off
*Pressure Up/Down (with a range of 0kPA~202kPa, or 0~2 Earth atmospheres)
*Temperature Up/Down (with a range of 0°C~60°C)

Your suit Battery will also power (and be drained by) the light in any attached helmet. If damaged, your suit can be patched by holding Duct Tape in your right hand and holding the right mouse button. The colour of an (unworn) suit can be changed using Spray Paint.

Slots
Contains 6 slots:
* 1x Breathable gas canister - Insert a Canister or a Gas Canister (Smart) with breathable gas mix (for example O2, Air, Air 20/80 or Nitrox 35/65)
* 1x Waste Tank - Insert an empty Canister or Gas Canister (Smart) where gases filtered by the Filters will be stored.
* 1x Life Support - Insert a charged Battery Cell.
* 3x Filters - Insert at least one CO2 Filters (if Human), others depending on your breathable gas mixture (usually Nitrogen)

Breathing
Species
Breathing Rate
Breathing Efficiency
The breathing efficiency will vary depending on the ambient atmospheric (AtmosphericEfficiency) and lungs state (DamageEfficiency).
Its formula is AtmosphericEfficiency x DamageEfficiency.

The Damage Efficiency is based on the lungs damage and will be a ratio between 0 and 1, where 1 mean no lungs damage.

The Atmospheric Efficiency is the ratio of the ambient atmosphere inhaled gas partial pressure over the minimum inhaled gas partial pressure (16 kPa), which is then clamped between 0 and 1.5.

Formulas
For all species, the inhaled gas consumption formula is 0.0048 mole/tick x BreathingEfficiency x BreathingRate. For the exhaled gas, the Human will exhale 50% of the inhaled mole quantity in Carbon Dioxide while the Zrilian will exhale 3.2% of the inhaled mole quantity in Nitrous Oxide.
Waste Filters and Waste Tank
Exhaled CO2 and any non-oxygen gases that wind up in the suit (e.g. nitrogen from an impure oxygen tank) will accumulate in the suit and kill human players if no filters are installed. With filters installed, the waste gases specified by the filters will be redirected into the Gas Canister in the Waste Tank slot. The maximum allowed pressure that the filters can push into the Waste Tank canister is 4052kPa. Low/critical Oxygen warnings will occur close to this value as your filters cease to function.

The waste tank canister can be easily emptied by selecting it and using the "open" function (depending on the atmosphere of your world, you may want to eventually start storing and reusing your carbon dioxide).

Notes
* Suit pressure set to 50-100 KPa (0.5 to 1 Earth's atmosphere), Humans in-game tolerating 11~250kPa and surviving 11~300kPA)
* Suit temperature is set by default to range between 18~21°C, Humans in-game preferring 10~29°C, tolerating 0~39°C and surviving around -10~49°C
* Additional key bindings to control your suit functions can be set in the Game Settings ---> Controls.
* The default filter is the CO2 filter, a gas generated by the Human character when consuming breathable gas.
* Make sure if you aren't using 100% Oxygen in your breathing gas that you add additional Filters! E.g. if you put the common "Air" mixture of 25% Oxygen + 75% Nitrogen into your tank, the Nitrogen would accumulate in your suit/helmet over time and suffocate you unless you have a Nitrogen filter to remove this.
* If you have the correct filters and breathable gas but are still experiencing problems, refer to the "Flush" function on your Space Helmet

* It is theoretically possible to mix EVA Suit elements and Hardsuit elements, although this is relatively uncommon.
* Damaged suits can be recycled assuming you have another one.

Additional Explanation of Breathing inside a Suit
Think of it this way: You start with a 100% Oxygen atmosphere in your suit/helmet. Through breathing you will replace some of the O2 with CO2. The CO2 will be removed by the suit's filters (which are by default three CO2 filters), in turn dropping the pressure in the suit/helmet. The breathing tank will replenish the suit's pressure atmosphere (with whatever is in the breathing tank) until the target pressure of the suit is reached again. This cycle will repeat over and over. So if you have anything else than pure O2 in your breathing tank, it will be introduced into the atmosphere of your suit and will accumulate over time (ultimately to 100%, because you're not breathing it and it doesn't get filtered out!) If you don't have pure Oxygen available or choose not to use it, you can use other gas mixtures, but must be sure that you add the appropriate filters to your suit as well.

Description
<b>Nitrous Oxide</b>, also referred to as <b>N2O</b> or <b>Nitrous</b>, is a reactive gas primarily used for its role in the creation of Superfuel. Nitrous Oxide naturally occurs when smelting lead and silver. It can also be acquired by crushing Nitrice

Details
Nitrous Oxide will condense into <b>Liquid Nitrous Oxide</b> at a very low pressure and temperature. Due to this, Nitrous Oxide is best stored as a liquid above 252. Stationeers are advised to monitor pipelines when setting up Nitrous Oxide gas systems as ruptures may occur if the temperature remains unchecked.

Nitrous Oxide can be combined with Volatiles at a 1:1 ratio to create Superfuel. Superfuel combusts at 323.15, burning much hotter and quicker than Fuel.

While Nitrous Oxide can be acquired through smelting ores and crushing ice, it can also be created via the Nitrolyzer using a combination of Nitrogen and Oxygen.

Notes
* For rocketry, Nitrous Oxide has a mass of about 21.74 mol/kg, giving the 1:1 fuel mix an average molar mass of ~32.258 mol/kg compared to 62.5 for a Fuel mix. <!--both oxygen and volatiles have a molar mass of 16g/mol, or 62.5 mol/kg-->
* Many Nitrous Oxide storage builds will include a condensation trap to avoid pipe ruptures.
* Alien Mushrooms breathe Nitrous Oxide and exhale oxygen and nitrogen.

Sources
You can collect Nitrous Oxide from the following sources:
{| class="wikitable"
|-
! Source !! Amount
|-
| Nitrice || 2.5 mol
|-
| Silver || 1 mol
|-
| Lead || 0.4 mol
