These plants were added to demonstrate flexibility of the plant system and were found, planted and harvested on Loulan. They could not be eaten or traded.

However, the Loulan world option was removed which now prevents these plants from being grown.

Alien mushroom breathe in N₂O (nitrous oxide), and produce N₂ and O₂

Can be grown in hydroponics without light to yield 2 x Alien Mushroom when fully grown.
