Description
This drill uses gas power for mining, instead of batteries like the others. The drill's mining speed is a function of the pressure differential meaning it will slow down as you deplete it's gas canister.

This also means that you can effectively give it an upgrade by using the smart canister to gain a much higher pressure differential.

<span style="font-size: 120%;"> Example -loadworld="myworld" directory structure. </span>
Note: BaseDirectory is by default in SteamApps/common/Stationeers Dedicated Server/<Contents of BaseDirectory> if installed with SteamCMD<br>

<big>Windows:</big><br>
-loadworld="myworld" will look for a folder named "myworld" in the saves directory like this:<br>
BaseDirectory\saves\myworld\

<big>Details:</big><br>
In the world directory named "myworld", there must be a few files:
* world.bin
* world.xml
* world_meta.xml
Note: The names of these files do not correspond to your custom world name. These will always be called world.bin etc..<br>
The server will automatically generate these upon first start. If you are importing another world, make sure these are in place in the correct directory for the server to load them.<br>
There is also one more file that will be created:
* worldsettings.xml

Modding on Servers
Undocumented feature<br>
Mods are supported on Dedicated servers, however it requires additional manual configuration - Necessitating direct file access and editing on the dedicated server. To install mods, you'll need to manually obtain the mod data first - Either from the Steam Workshop, or built yourself. Upload/Store the mods in a specific folder on the server - You will also likely want to edit default.ini on the server to point to a particular server folder rather then the default directory, defined below. Then manually add ModConfig.xml in the root directory of the server executible files, and manually edit the file to add each individual mod.<br>

modconfig.xml
Place a modconfig.xml in the serverfiles root (next to executable). Filename case is significant on Linux.

<HR><pre>
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<unsignedLong>1002</unsignedLong>
</Mods>
<DisabledMods>
</DisabledMods>
<LocalMod>
<folder>YourFirstModFolderHere</folder>
<modID>1001</modID>
</LocalMod>
<LocalMod>
<folder>YourSecondModFolderHere</folder>
<modID>1002</modID>
</LocalMod>
</LocalMods>
</ModConfig>
</pre><HR>

Assign a number to each entry you want to add.<br>
Numbers seem to default to 4 digits for mods when generated by the client,<br>
so try and keep the same structure in the server to prevent complications.<br>
1 is core file and always need to be enabled

Storing Mods
WIN: C:\Users\USERNAME_HERE\Documents\My Games\Stationeers\mods\
LIN: /home/USERNAME_HERE/My Games/Stationeers/mods/
OSX: /Users/USERNAME_HERE/My Games/Stationeers/mods/

\Modname or workshopid\About\
(file containing description about mod and thumbnail)
\Modname or workshopid\GameData\
(files you want to <u>append</u> to the core gamedata)

It's recommended to only put entries in the mod files you want to add or replace,<br>
do not try and replace the whole file for compatibility issues and errors.

There are some examples of how to make your own mods in:
\Steam\steamapps\common\Stationeers\rocketstation_Data\StreamingAssets\
Look for ExampleMod.zip and AttributesExampleMod.zip .

Linux Server with LinuxGSM
You could run a Linux Dedicated Server on these Distros:
* Ubuntu 16.04/18.04 LTS
* Debian 8
* CentOS 7

Installation on a Ubuntu 18.04 LTS Server
It's possible to download the iso-file for installation from here:<br>
https://ubuntu.com/download/server<br>
<br>
This should not be a tutorial how to set up a VM and install Ubuntu. There are many of them already out there.
<br>
First it#s necessary to install all the dependencies for LinuxGSM:
<br>
sudo dpkg --add-architecture i386; sudo apt update; sudo apt install mailutils postfix curl wget file tar bzip2 gzip unzip bsdmainutils python util-linux ca-certificates binutils bc jq tmux lib32gcc1 libstdc++6 lib32stdc++6 steamcmd zlib1g
<br>
To not having the server running whit root privilges it is recomend to setup a new user for the gameserver.<br>
To create a new user in linux use:
adduser stserver

For security best practice, ensure you set a strong password!

After installing the dependencies and creating a user its time to switch to that user and do the rest of the job.
su - stserver

<br>Download linuxgsm.sh whit wget.
wget -O linuxgsm.sh https://linuxgsm.sh

<br>Make the script executeable.
chmod +x linuxgsm.sh

<br>Setup the Stationeers Server instance.
bash linuxgsm.sh stserver

<br>Run the installer following the on-screen instructions.
./stserver install

<br>The script now download the server binarys and default configuration.
Start and Stop the Server
To start the server use this command.
./stserver start
<br>In Default the server will start a Moon map. To join the server use the local IP whit the Port 27500.
<br>To join the server from a different lokation, it's necessary to forward the port 27500/tcp and 27015/tcp to the local server.
<br>If its not possible to connect make sure the Ubuntu Firewall is of or configured to let this ports open. To check this run this as root user.
ufw status
<br>or to disable it
ufw disable

<br>To see the details
./stserver details

<br>To stop the server use
./stserver stop

<br>This command shows all atributes
./stserver help

<br>To show the live console of the server use:
./stserver console
To exit the console pres CTRL+b and then "d"

Edit configuration
The Configuration is stored under the folder lgsm/config-lgsm/stserver. There are three files:
* _default.cfg (contains the whole configuration with the default values Do not edit this file)
* common.cfg (the settings for this server)
* stserver.cfg (the settings for this instance)
If there is only one instance/server running and there will not be any other server it doesn't matter if you change the settings in common.cfg or stserver.cfg. If you planing to run more than on server or instance on the same VM you have to consider if the setting should apply server wide (all instances), or just for a specific Stationeers instance.

Example: Change map to Mars
Use your favorite texteditor (ex. vi or nano) and open the _default.cfg (remember not to do any changes here) search for the setting you want to change and copy the text. In our example it is this:
worldtype="Moon"
worldname="moon_save"
<br>Now open the file you want to configure. If you want any instance to run a Mars map use common.cfg or if only one instance should run this map use stserver.cfg (or stserver-2.cfg for the next instance). Paste the text at the end of the file and change "Moon" to "Mars"
worldtype="Mars"
worldname="mars_save"
<br>Now restart your server with ./stserver restart
<br>Make sure you also change the worldname (this is the folder where the savegame is) if the savegame-file is for a different world than the config is set to the server will not start.

}}

Description
A combined jetpack / storage unit worn on the back, usually in combination with a EVA Suit. This jetpack's maximum flight speed is limited to approximately 3m/s (slightly slower than running on a flat surface), but it consumes very little propellant.

Players may spawn with the Basic Jetpack but it currently can not be fabricated using Printers.

Usage
Your jetpack can be activated using the Keyboard shortcut J or by pressing the Spacebar (which will cause you to gain altitude). It also significantly increases your carrying capacity.

The jetpack includes a Stabilizer function, which when activated will cause your character to 'hover' after gaining altitude in a gravity well, rather than falling. It is also possible to adjust the 'Thrust' Value of your jetpack. This will not change the top speed you can attain, but instead adjusts the rate of acceleration. The Basic Jetpack can therefore be made much less twitchy for use around your base by decreasing its Thrust setting.

Your backpack storage and jetpack functions can be accessed by pressing the Number 4 key. This will bring up a panel showing the backpack's settings, as follows:
* Stabilizer On / Off - Toggle the Stabilizer on and off
* Thrust Up/Down - When the jetpack is active, adjusts Thrust by increments of +/-10%

The colour of an (unworn) backpack can be changed using Spray Paint.

Slots
It contains 10 slots, as follows:
* 1x Propellant Tank - Insert a Canister or Gas Canister (Smart) containing suitable propellant gas.
* 9x Generic Storage slots

Upgrades
* The Basic Jetpack should be replaced by the Spacepack as soon as possible, for an increase in maximum flight speed.
* Hardsuit Backpack and Hardsuit Jetpack provide further alternatives once the alloys required to build them are available.

Propellant
Usually pure N2 is used as a propellant, but any liquid or gas will work. Often CO2 is selected as a more readily available alternative propellant once the initial supply of nitrogen is exhausted.

Other considerations:
* Generally you will wish to use a gas with plentiful availability as jetpack propellant (such as Carbon Dioxide on Mars, or even just pressurized local atmosphere).
* Pollutants and CO2 are suitable as propellants and are plentiful once you have a working Furnace.
* Any gas mix can be used as propellant, as Thrust is generated by controlled venting of the gas, not by combustion; However:
** Your jetpack vents its propellant directly into the atmosphere or any sealed room you are inside - as such, your jetpack could potentially contaminate a sealed environment (for example with Carbon Dioxide or Pollutant), or even cause a fire if it causes Oxygen and Hydrogen to mix in sufficient quantities to support spontaneous combustion
** In theory, you could carry a spare propellant tank in your backpack, potentially with an alternate gas mix (possibly allowing safe use of jetpack 'indoors')

Notes
* Your backpack can hold items stacked within items (you could nest multiple backpacks - although this may be contrary to the spirit of the game!)
* It is possible to mix EVA Suit elements and Hardsuit elements.
* Marine Armor has no matching backpack, and could therefore be supplemented sensibly with any backpack.

* 9x Generic Storage slots

Upgrades
* The Basic Jetpack should be replaced by the Spacepack as soon as possible, for an increase in maximum flight speed.
* Hardsuit Backpack and Hardsuit Jetpack provide further alternatives once the required to build them are available.

* It is possible to mix EVA Suit elements and Hardsuit elements, although this is relatively uncommon
* Marine Armor has no matching backpack, and could therefore be supplemented sensibly with any backpack

== Description == <!--T:2-->
Used to craft a variety of items. Takes ingots in the left and spits product out of the right. Power button toggles machine power state. Lever will eject materials inside if machine is powered. Arrow buttons select recipe, push the square button in between to craft. Magnifying glass button below the craft button opens a search interface for easier recipe selection.

To complete construction you will need 2 Iron Sheets, 4 Cable Coils, and 2 Plastic Sheets and a Welder tool.

Since December 2019 there is an option to upgrade the Autolathe to a MK2 Version.

Warning: Machine will continue to craft until button is pushed again, machine is turned off or loses power.

If you want to craft only a single item unattended: start the craft, pull the eject lever, walk away and the craft will progress but stop at 100%. When you return, to finish the item, reset the eject lever and the item will be crafted and pop out, then push the square button to stop the crafting process.
* The "RequiredPower" output only ever outputs 5, when the Autolathe is turned on, 0 otherwise. It does not take into account the raised power required when active. (Still present in version 0.1.1234.6112)

Description
A combined jetpack / storage unit worn on the back, usually in combination with an [EVA Suit]]. The jetpack is capable of flight speeds of up to 8m/s (more than double that of Basic Jetpack, or running). The jetpack is especially useful for construction work and mining. The Spacepack uses more propellant than the Basic Jetpack, but is still very fuel-efficient when compared with the Hardsuit Jetpack.

Upgrades
A larger, more powerful but much more expensive Hardsuit Jetpack is also available, as is a more readily-attainable Hardsuit Backpack (which provides additional storage but no jetpack functionality).

Usage
Your jetpack can be activated using the Keyboard shortcut J or by pressing the Spacebar (which will cause you to gain altitude). It also significantly increases your carrying capacity.

The jetpack includes a Stabiliser function, which when activated will cause your character to 'hover' after gaining altitude in a gravity well, rather than falling. It is also possible to adjust the 'Thrust' Value of your jetpack. This will not change the top speed you can attain, but instead adjusts the rate of acceleration. The basic Spacepack can therefore be made more responsive by increasing its Thrust setting.

Your backpack storage and jetpack functions can be accessed by pressing the Number 4 key. This will bring up a panel showing the backpack's settings, as follows:
* Stabiliser On / Off - Toggle the Stabilizer on and off
* Thrust Up/Down - When the jetpack is active, adjusts Thrust by increments of +/-10%

The colour of an (unworn) Jetpack can be changed using Spray Paint.

Slots
It contains 10 slots, as follows:
* 1x Propellant Tank - Insert a Canister or Gas Canister (Smart) containing suitable propellant gas (usually pure N2, but sometimes CO2)
* 9x Generic Storage slots

Notes
* Spacepack uses approximately two times the gas volume of Basic Jetpack while manoeuvring.
* Hardsuit Jetpack uses many times (at least 20x) the gas volume of Spacepack while manoeuvring.
* Regardless of stabilizer setting, significant propellant is only expended during acceleration. Only a very small amount of propellant is used while hovering or travelling at consistent speeds.
* Your backpack can hold items stacked within items (so in theory, you could nest multiple backpacks - although this may be contrary to the spirit of the game!)
* It is theoretically possible to mix EVA Suit elements and Hardsuit elements, although this is relatively uncommon
* Marine Armor has no matching backpack, and could therefore be supplemented sensibly with any backpack
* Any gas mix can be used as propellant, as Thrust is generated by controlled venting of the gas, not by combustion (although see below...)
* Your jetpack vents its propellant directly into the atmosphere or any sealed room you are inside - as such, your jetpack could potentially contaminate a sealed environment (for example with Carbon Dioxide or Pollutant), or even cause a fire if it causes Oxygen and Hydrogen to mix in sufficient quantities to support spontaneous combustion
* In theory, you could carry a spare propellant tank in your backpack, potentially with an alternate gas mix (possibly allowing safe use of jetpack 'indoors')
* Generally you will wish to use a gas with plentiful availability as jetpack propellant (such as Carbon Dioxide on Mars)

Description
A combined jetpack / storage unit worn on the back, usually in combination with an [EVA Suit]]. The jetpack is capable of flight speeds of up to 8m/s (more than double that of Basic Jetpack, or running). The jetpack is especially useful for construction work and mining.

* Setting the "Activate" parameter to 1, can cause the Autolathe to activate, even when it is empty. Nothing is dropped from the output, once the production is finished in this case and the Autolathe will stop after one production run.
The jetpack is capable of flight speeds of 3m/s (slightly slower than running in a spacesuit over smooth terrain). The jetpack is especially useful for construction work and mining.

The colour of an (unworn) helmet can be changed using Spray Paint.

Slots
It contains 10 slots, as follows:
* 1x Propellant Tank - Insert a Canister or Gas Canister (Smart) containing suitable propellant gas (usually pure N2, but sometimes CO2)
* 9x Generic Storage slots

Notes

Description
A combined jetpack / storage unit worn on the back, usually in combination with a EVA Suit. This jetpack's maximum flight speed is limited to approximately 3m/s (slightly slower than running on a flat surface), but it consumes very little propellant.

Players may spawn with the Basic Jetpack but it currently can not be fabricated using .

Usage
Your jetpack can be activated using the Keyboard shortcut J or by pressing the Spacebar (which will cause you to gain altitude). It also significantly increases your carrying capacity.

* Thrust Up/Down - When the jetpack is active, adjusts Thrust by increments of +/-10%

Slots
* 1x Propellant Tank - Insert a Canister or Gas Canister (Smart) containing suitable propellant gas.
* 9x Generic Storage slots

Upgrades
* The Basic Jetpack should be replaced by the Spacepack as soon as possible, for an increase in maximum flight speed.
* Hardsuit Backpack and Hardsuit Jetpack provide further alternatives once the required to build them are available.

* It is possible to mix EVA Suit elements and Hardsuit elements, although this is relatively uncommon
The jetpack is especially useful for travelling long distance.

Considerations
The Hardsuit Jetpack consumes propellant at a prodigious rate, much faster than a Spacepack or Basic Jetpack. As such, it is recommended that you fuel the Hardsuit Jetpack with Gas Canister (Smart) rather than Gas Canister, as they can hold twice the volume ( or pressure) of gas. It is also suggested that you improve your gas supply as you will regularly replace even a fully charged smart canister with this jetpack.
As an alternative, the Spacepack is much cheaper, smaller and less powerful, as is a more-readily attainable Hardsuit Backpack (which provides additional storage but no jetpack functionality).
