<blockquote>Fixes [[IC10]] interaction, [[logic]] pin order, materials, and new [[tank]] configuration issues.</blockquote>This hotfix addresses several non-critical issues with the Combustion [[Centrifuge]], including interaction and visual scaling problems, corrects logic pin ordering on the Combustion [[Deep Miner]], restores a missing material, and fixes minor configuration issues with the new tanks, including renaming via [[labeller]] and incorrect Smart Rotate values.

* Changed CombustionCentrifuge over to using anim components for basic animations.
* Fixed IC10 slot in CombustionCentrifuge was not interactable.
* Fixed IC10 chip when placed in combustion deep miner is incorrectly sized.
* Fixed Logic device IC pin colliders were incorrectly ordered on Combustion Deep miner (such that pin0 was setting d1).
* Fixed New Tanks were not renamable with labeller.
* Fixed missing material on [[Combustion Centrifuge]].
* Fixed Smart Rotate variables were set incorrectly on new tanks. The automated system did not apply the correct value, so they have been entered manually.

Permits gasses to go through when connected to a pipe network.

You can think of a passive vent as removing the end cap of a pipe system. A pipe on its own - even if it visually looks different! - is always closed on both ends (unless devices are attached to the end of the pipe). So there will be no exchange of gases between the pipe and the surrounding environment. Heat may be exchanged, but no gasses!

If you place a passive vent on the end of a pipe, the pipe and the surrounding environment will basically become one and the same "system". That means the gas mixture in the pipe and the surrounding environment will instantly(!) average out (which may affect the pressure, temperature and mixture of both the pipe and the surrounding environment) and will always be identical after that initial "evening out".

There is no other active component needed for this "evening out" between the pipe and the surrounding environment to happen; the passive vent does this on its own.

But there will be no gas exchange beyond this "evening out". So if you, e.g. want to transport gas from a room through a passive vent and its attached pipe system to somewhere else, you need an active component - like an active vent, a pump or filtration unit, etc. - somewhere along the pipe.

Consider the smaller [[Pipe Cowl]] as an alternative.

== Description ==

The Active Vent moves gas between the connected [[Pipe Network]] and the atmosphere surrounding the active vent.
It requires electric power to work (100 Watt).

The "PressureExternal" value is a measure of the atmosphere surrounding the active vent.
The "PressureInternal" value is a measure of the pressure inside the active vent pipe network.

Contrary to popular belief, both values are enforced, so the Active Vent comes with the functionality of a Pressure Regulator and simultaneously also Back Pressure Regulator. Note that setting these value and changing the Mode afterwards is ill-advised: Changing the Mode always resets both values to their defaults (101/0 for pumping into the room, 0/50 for pumping into the pipe), so they must be set (if at all) *after* setting the Mode.

* In "Outward mode" (switch is blue), the Active Vent increases the external pressure by moving gas from the pipe network to the surrounding atmosphere, up to "PressureExternal", but never allowing the pipe's pressure to drop below "PressureInternal".
* In "Inward mode" (switch is red), the Active Vent decreases the external pressure by moving gas from the surrounding atmosphere to the pipe network, down to "PressureExternal", never exceeding the pipe pressure set in "PressureInternal".

This is the reason why the airlock is unable to pressurize when the atmosphere surrounding the active vent is unable to reach 100 kPa within the airlock.

The "PressureExternal" values can also be inconvenient on worlds like Loulan whose atmosphere is well above 101kPa. Manually-operated airlocks can not equalise the pressure within the airlock during the exit cycle to the Loulan atmosphere pressures. Without equal pressures you can not prevent wind currents from occurring when opening airlock doors. The active vent has no effect when the external pressure within the airlock surrounding the active vent is already >101kPa. When the pressure is <101kPa the vent will stop when it reaches 101kPa.
