== Description ==

This creates a Pipe Cowl that can be placed on the end of pipes to expose them to the world atmospheres.
'''- Stationpedia'''

Permits gasses to go through when connected to a pipe network. Typically used as a smaller alternative to a [[Passive Vent]]. But beware that the Pipe Cowl has a significantly smaller throughput than the Passive Vent. So if you want to vent gas as quickly as possible the Passive Vent is the better choice.

Indispensable for producing precise atmospheric ratios, this gas mixer blends two gasses in proportions ranging anywhere from 0-100%.

It is crucial to have mixed gasses to have the same temperature, as the mixer's logic is not sufficient to calculate the proper ratio otherwise. Your mixture will be less than optimal.

Beware: The gas mixer is basically a volume pump as well, so it will mix the gases and push them out into the output pipe network. It will not just equalize with the output pipe network (e.g. like the ice crusher), it will actively move the gases. So if you leave the gas mixer on and don't have any way of pressure release in the outgoing pipe network, the pipes will eventually burst!
