The atmos analyzer cartridge allows the tablet to inspect the atmosphere of the current room, giving pressure, concentrations of each gas, as well as the molar quantity of the gasses. This information applies to the large-grid cube of atmosphere the tablet is in. Pointing the tablet at a pipe or tank will give the same information for either the contents of the tank or the contents of the entire pipe network.

Make a return loop on the coolant system back to the coolant waste port for a slightly better efficiency.<br>
It will try to draw or expel heat to the coolant mix to make the input match the desired output.

Atmospherics is one of the main simulated systems in [[Stationeers]]. The game world consists of many individual units of atmosphere that interact with each other as well as structures and items that are in contact or intersecting with them.

The atmosphere in one large grid will exchange contents and heat with neighbouring atmospheres in order to equalize their content.
An atmosphere in a vacuum will eventually spread out and dissipate in within a few large grid atmospheres of distance.

Each individual pipe network is simulated with one atmosphere. If you break up a pipe network with a device such as a pump or valve, you effectively control the interaction of gasses between the two atmospheres.

Individual structures that contain atmospheres (static tanks, etc) will interact either with a pipe network or directly with the surrounding atmosphere, it depends on the configuration.

== Items ==

This is a setup created with the help of the http://discord.gg/stationeers Official Stationeers Discord server. Note that this setup is *lossy*, meaning it's not perfect. It starts off at 375w of power in the morning, builds up to 500w at zenith (noon) then back to 375. This is due purely to the fact that solars aren't perfectly vertical at 0/100 percent. Also, multiplying a 180 degree angle by 0.55 gives you 0 to 99 values, which is also imperfect. However, this is the most COMPACT setup you can achieve without other external tools and with such little hardware.

* Solar panels should be rotated such as that 0% VERTICAL rotation faces west/sunrise, and 100% VERTICAL faces east/sunset.
* The [[Area Power Control]] is necessary for the circuit to stay powered during the night.
* Importantly, the solar input power doesn't directly connect to any of the logic writers. This not only ensures your system doesn't lose power but also prevents short-circuiting that would burn cables.
* The use of the [[Area Power Control]] hides all the modules from the rest of your system.
* You could reduce the power usage and complexity of this system by using a [[Kit (Computer)]] with a [[Motherboard (Logic)]] to set the value on the memory chip and then removing the [[Kit (Computer)]] afterwards. This removes the need to do an additional math operation.
* As of v0.1.1052.5350 the addition of batch writers means you no longer need to repeat a writer for each solar panel.

Grab [[Iron Frames|Iron Frames]] into active hand, use right-click to bring up place mode and left-click when frame is in desired spot.


Then equip a welder in one hand and [[Iron Sheets]] in the other hand, two per frame you wish to install. The welder needs to be the active hand.


Use the 'O' button to toggle the welder on.

The frame is broken down in stages. First you remove the sheets using a [[wrench]] and then the [[Angle Grinder|angle grinder]] to take down the actual frame once all sheets are removed.


It is often needed to remove one layer of [[Iron Sheets]] so you can pass new cables through a wall. In which case on [[wrench]] is needed.

Filters are used to filter out gas from an input. Only gasses matching the filters type will pass through it.

All filters cost 5g [[Iron]] and can be made in the [[Hydraulic Pipe Bender]] or [[Fabricator]].
