It is possible to turn plants, seeds, and [[Decayed food]] into electricity through a number of processing steps.

* plants, seeds, or [[Decayed food]] into a [[Recycler]] produces a [[Reagent Mix]]
* placing that [[Reagent Mix]] into a [[Centrifuge]] turns it into [[Biomass]]
* [[Biomass]] can be baked inside an [[Arc Furnace]] (and probably other furnaces) to become [[Charcoal]]
* [[Charcoal]] can be burned in a [[Solid Fuel Generator]] to make electricity

It is relatively straightforward to connect these devices with [[Chutes]], although starting the Arc Furnace will require some logic. For an advanced challenge, route the charcoal through a [[Stacker]] into an [[SDB Silo]] and then through another Stacker that only releases small (5?) batches of Charcoal when the [[Stationary Battery]] charge gets low (1M joules)

Excess seeds are a common result from a steady-state automated [[Harvie]] greenhouse, and it is possible to dedicate a large chunk of a greenhouse to producing raw material for a biofuel pipeline.
