&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;New page&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div&gt;I planted some Winterspawn Beta and it was unhappy until I warmed its room above -5C.  I then heated it past 44.5C and it was again unhappy.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The Winterspawn Beta consumes Nitrogen to reduce the temperature of the atmosphere.  It does not appear to produce Oxygen and Volatiles (I assume this was patched out when players demonstrated it could be used for &amp;quot;free energy&amp;quot;).&lt;/div&gt;</summary>
