Cable pylons make it easier to connect power and data over long distances. You can run cables across up to 17 large grids between two pylons, or between a pylon and a terminus. After installing pylons, you can connect the cable link points using [[Cable Coil (Heavy)|Heavy]] or [[Cable Coil (Super Heavy)|Super Heavy cable]]. Each pylon’s link point can connect to two other pylons or terminuses. Each terminus can connect only one cable. For a cable T or X crossing, you need to split the pylon segments with terminuses and then cross-connect the terminuses in between.

Each pylon has two isolators supporting two separate cable lines. Each terminus can connect only one cable. For T or X crossing you need to split the pylon segments with terminuses and then cross-connect terminuses.
For today, terminus deconstruction doesn't recover the kit.

Description

Cable pylons make it easier to connect power and data over long distances. You can run cables across up to 17 large grids between two pylons, or between a pylon and a terminus.

Each pylon has two isolators supporting two separate cable lines. Each terminus can connect only one cable. After installation use Super Heavy cable to start linking it to an isolator or terminus then link it to another pylon isolator or terminus. For T or X crossing you need to split the pylon segments with terminuses and then cross-connect terminuses.
