When I tried putting a stack of 8 biomass into an arc furnace it simply erupted spewing flames in all directions until it was all burnt away to nothing. This was on mars, outdoors, with no other gasses in the environment beyond the standard atmosphere. Any idea what happened and how to fix it or what's changed? --Kittensune (talk) 19:41, 14 August 2026 (UTC) | When I tried putting a stack of 8 biomass into an arc furnace it simply erupted spewing flames in all directions until it was all burnt away to nothing. Arc furnaces produce sparks and release gas contents of their inputs. your biomass released methane which then ignited with mars atmospheric oxygen. Run your arc furnace in a vacuum next time. RA2lover (talk) 17:13, 15 August 2026 (UTC) | |||
