Diced organic material that is returned when food and organic matter is passed through the Recycler and Centrifuge. Can be burned in a Furnace into Charcoal for use in the Generator (Solid Fuel).

Description

Biomass is made from organic matter (plants, seeds, food and decayed food) in two steps. A Recycler will turn organic matter into reagent mix, and a Centrifuge or furnace will turn this into biomass.

Biomass can be turned into Charcoal in a furnace, Fertilizer in a Portable or Advanced Composter, or Alcohol in a Fermenter. If produced in a centrifuge, each unit of biomass will offgas 8 mols of and 4 mols of when processed in an Arc Furnace (turning it into Charcoal in the process) or inserted into a furnace with an internal temperature aboce 100°C. If the furnace is below 580 K (306.9 °C) or 100 kPa when ejected, it will remain as biomass still usable in a composter or fermenter, but no longer offgas.
